The U.S. solar and storage industries are economic engines, supporting thousands of jobs, billions in new investments, and lowering electricity bills.
But right now, Congress is considering cutting policies that support clean energy which could cause all of the industry investments to evaporate. This would result in household electric bills increasing, on average, $83 a year.
Less clean energy would also mean companies will be unable to meet the increasing demands for power from data centers and other power-intensive technology, leading to a less stable grid.
